for everyone
Reggae is for everybody. Tell us what you need and a real person will plan it with you before the day.
Requests for an ASL interpreter or anything that needs arranging ahead go through the request form. We reply within three business days. After the deadline we'll still do everything we can.To confirm: Name the access contact and confirm the reply promise.
Arriving
- Accessible parking and a drop-off point next to the entrance.To confirm: Confirm location and number of spaces with Friends of Worumbo. ADA guide: 4 accessible spaces per 100, 1 in 6 van-accessible.
- The festival is on a level grass lawn, with a paved path along the river wall. We'll describe the route from parking to the stage here, with photos, before tickets go on sale. To confirm: Walk the site: surface (grass/gravel/paved), slopes, route width (36 in minimum), and whether ground mats are needed.
Seeing and hearing the stage
- An accessible viewing area with a clear sightline to the stage and seats for you and your companion.To confirm: Commit to a location (near the sound desk is common) and size.
- One companion per guest who needs one gets in free.
- ASL interpretation for the main stage on request by Saturday, July 17, 2027.
- It gets loud near the speakers. Ear defenders to borrow and a quieter spot away from the stage.To confirm: Confirm ear-defender loan box and quiet area location.
Restrooms
Every restroom area on site has at least one wheelchair-accessible unit, marked with the accessibility symbol.
Service animals
Service animals are welcome everywhere on site. Under the ADA, a service animal is a dog (or, in some cases, a miniature horse) individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. It must be leashed or harnessed unless that gets in the way of its work. Emotional support animals aren't service animals under the ADA. Our staff may ask only two things: whether the animal is required because of a disability, and what task it's trained to perform.
Tickets
Accessible viewing is included with every ticket at no extra cost, and we'll never ask for proof of a disability.
