If the festival hasn’t sold out, yes — but tickets cost $5 more at the gate. Buying ahead is cheaper and guarantees your spot.

Yes, rain or shine. If lightning comes near, we pause the show and everyone waits in their cars until it’s safe. Read the full weather plan.

If we cancel the whole festival before the first act plays, you get a full refund of your ticket price automatically. If weather shortens the day after the music has started, tickets aren’t refunded. Details on the weather page.

Portland International Jetport (PWM) is about 42 minutes away by car. The Amtrak Downeaster from Boston stops in Freeport and Brunswick, 20 and 15 minutes from the festival. All the options.

No. Local buses don’t run to Lisbon Falls on Saturday evenings, and late-night rideshare is thin out here. Plan a designated driver, a nearby hotel or a pre-booked taxi — numbers here.

There are no hotels in Lisbon Falls itself, but Brunswick, Lewiston-Auburn and Freeport are 15–20 minutes away, and there are campgrounds nearby. See the list.

Caribbean food is at the heart of the day, alongside local vendors. The vendor lineup is posted before the festival.

Sealed water, and food for babies and young kids, are welcome — and there’s a free water refill station. Please leave other outside food and all outside alcohol at home. Alcohol is sold on site by a licensed operator to guests 21 and over with ID.To confirm: Confirm the bar operator and licence.

No. Maine law doesn’t allow cannabis to be consumed in public places, and a ticketed festival counts. The fine is up to $100.

Only in the designated smoking area, away from the food and the kids zone. That includes vapes.

Blankets, yes. Low-back camp chairs, yes, in the chair area behind the dance floor.

Trained service animals are always welcome. Pets are not allowed.

Cards are accepted everywhere, and there’s an ATM on site.

It’s an open riverfront lawn with a shade tent, so bring a hat and sunscreen. In a lightning storm, the safe place is your car — tents and canopies don’t protect you. Weather plan.

Culture Reggae Festival was founded in 2024 by Rayon Wilson and is produced right here in Lisbon Falls, Maine. Our story.

It falls on the week Jamaica celebrates Emancipation Day (August 1) and Independence Day (August 6) — a natural time to celebrate reggae and Caribbean culture.
